What about your loved ones?πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

Easter is such an exciting time of year. The sadness of the crucifixion story mixes with the rejoicing at the tomb at the realization of the Savior being alive! Jesus is no longer the grave but is risen indeed!

As we go back into the crucifixion and find Jesus on the cross, we read these verses in John 19:26-27;Β β€œWhen Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.” It’s clear that Jesus cared for his mother. He loved his own family.

Jesus had an advantage that you and I don’t – He knew when, where, and how He was going to die. You have no idea. Psalms 90:12 simply tells us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. So, how are you treating those closest to you? How are you caring for them?

Hug your loved ones, express your heart of affection, andΒ appreciate the little moments. Life is a vapor andΒ everything can andΒ will change quickly. Don’t let life catch you by surprise. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Love deeply now while you have the opportunity together.

“A happy family is but an earlier heaven.”
– George Bernard Shaw
