If your God is so BIG then so should your goals…

Friend, I got to share with you a mega-important truth that is bubbling up inside up me like a volcano waiting to burst out! GOD IS A BIG GOD! I have seen God do amazing things in my life this past year! Some things that even if I told you you would not believe.

But I believed way before these things happened because I have faith in my God. What are you believing for? What are you hoping for? What are you asking God to do in your life that is so BIG He can’t help but show off His mighty power?!

Set goals that are so big that it takes God’s help to make them happen. They should be so big that it makes you nervous, scared, and excited all at the same time. They should make you reach way beyond your current capacities. Something you’ve never done before. Then when it happens you will have released your potential and grown into the powerful person you knew was inside of you all along. And you’ll know that it was God that divinely prompted you, enabled you, resourced you, and promoted you.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” – 1 Chronicles 4:10

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Do not go to your grave with all those hopes and dreams still inside of you. Ask God to bless you! Ask God to enlarge your coasts! Ask Him to prosper your business! You’ve got to put yourself out there and do stuff you’ve never done if you want to have what you’ve never had. Make today the day you say “yes” to doing something for the 1st time. GO in the direction of your God-given dream. Give yourself permission to experience life, and yes that includes all those raw emotions you haven’t felt for years. Do it now and LIVE again!

“A person should set his goals as early as he can and devote all his energy and talent to getting there. With enough effort, he may achieve it. Or he may find something that is even more rewarding. But in the end, no matter what the outcome, he will know he has been alive.” – Walt Disney
