Celebrate Your Wins!πŸŽ‰

When you experience a win do you take the time to celebrate? The word “celebrate” means to acknowledge a significant event with a social gathering or enjoyable activity. Celebration is so important!

The Bible is filled with examples of celebrations, feasts, and family gatherings. When the Hebrews were spared a mass holocaust in the book of Esther they designated a feast called Purim. When they crossed over the Red Sea, the Hebrews joined together in song in Exodus 15. When the Prodigal Son arrived home, the father called for a party to take place and food to be served.

Celebrations cause positive endorphins to be released in your mind. The memories, the sounds, the music all come together to form a beautiful event in our mind.Β In her book, “Come On In!”, Amy Baker says – “the things we celebrate in life leave a lasting impression on us.” If you want to remember something – celebrate it! If you want it to have an impact on those around you – celebrate it!

Recently as a church family, we have seen God move in an incredible way through our Missions Conference! What does that mean? We celebrate! Because what God has done is important to us! We give Him the glory! We give Him the praise! We celebrate His provision, strength, and power to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think!

Think about your own life. What should you be celebrating? What special event coming up for your coworker or your spouse is cause to bring people together and join in celebration?

“I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart;Β I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.Β I will be glad and rejoice in thee:Β I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High”Β Psalm 9:1-2
